Cauliflower Hash Browns

  1. 1/2 cauliflower head
  2. 1 whole egg
  3. 1/4 tsp salt
  4. Black pepper, Chives
  5. 1 tbsp. chopped Garlic
  6. 1 tbsp. Basil leaves, chopped
  7. Cooking Spray


Grate the cauliflower head, until shredded. Add a pinch of salt and let it sit in a thin cloth for 20 minutes. Press and drain the excess water.

Preheat the oven to 200 C. Combine the shredded cauliflower with chopped garlic, egg, chives and pepper. Combine the dough with your hands.

Grease a baking tray with cooking spray/oil of your choice.

Roll portions of the dough in medium sized balls. Place them on a baking tray and press down to flatten.

Place the baking tray in the oven at 200 C for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.


Serve with eggs
