Paleo No-Oat-Meal

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup walnuts
  2. 2 Tbs ground flax seed
  3. 1/2–1 tsp ground cinnamon
  4. freshly ground nutmeg
  5. 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  6. 1 Tbs almond butter
  7. 1 banana, mashed
  8. 3 eggs
  9. 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk 
  10. 2 tsp pumpkin seeds
  11. 1 handful of fresh berries/fruit of choice

Instructions

  1. Add walnuts,flax seed and spices to a food processor and blend till it forms small chunks, not a powder. Set aside.
  2. Whisk together eggs and almond milk to form a loose custard.
  3. Thoroughly blend the mashed banana and almond butter together and add it to the custard, mixing well.
  4. Stir in the course nut mixture.
  5. In a medium saucepan, warm the mixture on the stove until the it reaches the desired consistency. Stir frequently. This takes abou 2 minutes
  6. Sprinkle  seeds and fruit on top.
