Decadent Chocolate Paleo Cake

  1. 1 1/2 Cups Avocado, mashed
  2. 3/4 Cup Honey
  3. 1 Tbsp Vanilla extract
  4. 6 eggs, seperate the yolks and whites
  5. 100 g Dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  6. 3/4 Cup Coconut flour
  7. 3/4 Cup Almond flour 
  8. 2 tsp Baking soda
  9. 3/4 tsp Sea salt


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease two cake pans with coconut oil.
  2. Mash the avocado in a food processor until creamy. Transfer into a large bowl.
  3. Add the honey, vanilla and egg yolks into the bowl. Beat the mixture until creamy.
  4. Place the dark chocolate into a small, microwave-safe bowl and microwave on in 30 second intervals, until the chocolate has melted. Add the chocolate into the avocado mixture and beat until well incorporated.
  5. In a seperate small bowl, stir together the coconut flour, baking soda and salt.Mix in the avocado mixture until well combined. 
  6. Beat the egg whites on high speed until foamy.
  7. Gently place the whipped egg whites into the bowl with the cake batter and fold them in.
  8. Divide the batter between the two prepared pans and bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, about 20-25 minutes.
