Rosemary Garlic Tofu

Ingredients

  1. 1 tablespoon water
  2. 1/2 tablespoon light olive oil
  3. 1/2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  4. 2 teaspoons garlic, chopped
  5. 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  6. 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  7. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  8. A dash of freshly ground black pepper
  9. 1/2 package extra-firm tofu, pressed and drained
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine oil, water, vinegar, garlic, herbs, and pepper in an open dish. Place the tofu slices in the baking dish and marinate for 25-30 minutes
  2. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Transfer the tofu slices to a baking sheet that's been greased with cooking spray.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes, or more if you want a chewier texture. Flip the tofu over halfway through cooking time.
