1. Heat the oil over a medium flame in a pan.
2. Add in the onions and garlic, saute until golden brown.
3. Throw in the chopped mushrooms. Add salt, to taste.
4. Let the mushrooms cook until all the water has evaporated and add in the Za'atar spice with the basil leaves.
5. In a bowl, spread out the hummus.
6. Add the mushrooms. Top with basil leaves and serve hot!
