Ingredients

6 tbsp. butter

3 tbsp. corn starch

225 g unsweetened dark chocolate or 6 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

3/4th cup erythritol/xylitol

1 tbsp. cocoa powder

2 large eggs

1 cup raw walnuts/pecan nuts

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.
  2. In a small bowl mix your cocoa powder and corn starch.
  3. In a small saucepan melt your butter and chocolate, till smooth.
  4. Quickly add your sugar substitute and mix well.
  5. Crack in one egg at a time and mix.
  6. Add in the corn starch and cocoa powder mixture and mix until smooth.
  7. Transfer the contents to a baking tray lined with paper/grease the tray.
  8. Top with nuts and bake for 25-28 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean from the centre.
  9. Remove, cool, slice and serve!
