  1. 3 cups roasted unsalted hazelnuts
  2. 2/3 cup dark chocolate, chopped 
  3. 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  4. 1/2 tsp sea salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and add hazelnuts to a baking tray.
  2. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Remove the skins.
  3. Now add the hazelnuts to a food processor. Blend on low for about 10 minutes. Stop and scrape down the sides at regular intervals.
  4. Heat the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second increments. Set aside.
  5. Once the hazelnut butter is smooth, add the melted chocolate, sea salt and vanilla. Blend/until well incorporated. 
  6. Transfer to a clean jar and store at room temperature or refrigerate, to store for a longer time.
